Apply for Scholarships and other Aid
Posted by Paul in Academics, Deadlines, Points of Interest on June 3, 2010
As a result of friends, faculty, staff, and former students of the College providing financial gifts to invest in the mission of the College and its students, beginning with the Fall 2010 term the College will begin awarding scholarships to qualifying students to assist with the cost of tuition and fees for 2010-11. We anticipate awarding scholarships and other aid of approximately $500,000. This is in addition to other aid that students might qualify, including federal grants.
Students must be enrolled in a Bible certificate, associate or bachelor degree program, demonstrate financial need and meet academic requirements to be eligible for institutional scholarships. Learn more about the FAFSA and financial aid, including qualifications and filing deadlines at Financial Aid. The first step required of students applying for scholarships and all other financial aid is the completion of the Free Application for Student Financial Aid (FAFSA). If you haven’t already completed your FAFSA for 2010-11 then you should do so as soon as possible. In addition to the FAFSA you will need to complete a simple CBS online application for aid and monitor the status of your application and final awards at Myfa.
Student Email Account Required
Posted by Paul in Academics, Deadlines, Points of Interest on June 3, 2010
Beginning with the Fall term email will become the primary method of communicating with students. If you do not have an email account you will need to establish an account. It is also important to keep your email account updated. You can review and update your email account and other biographic information at Myrecords.
Take Advantage of a Payment Plan
Posted by Paul in Academics, Deadlines, Points of Interest on June 3, 2010
Most students will be eligible for a payment plan to pay tuition and fees in 2010-11 academic year due to a reduction in the balance required to participate to $300. In addition, the payment plan schedule has also been revised to provide a longer period to select a payment plan with 0% down. The deferred tuition fee will also decrease to $25, reducing the cost of participation in a payment plan.
Don’t miss the opportunity this Fall to access a payment plan to help you manage your tuition and fees balance while continuing to pursue your educational goals.
